Diamonds of discovery












As glorious as crown jewels may be, Her Majesty's diamonds aren't the only jewels we'll be celebrating this year. We travel to Floriade for the World Horticultural Expo in Regio Veno, as well as cruising sparkling waters to Spain, seeing snow-capped mountains in Northern Italy, Germany's liquid crystal river Rhine, not forgetting Austria, and the South of France's hidden gems.

There's the breathtakingly beautiful Emerald Isles, Jewels and Joys of Jersey and a fantastic Diamond Jubilee celebration taking place at the Royal Edinburgh Tattoo this year. Sometimes, however, our most precious treasures are found on home soil, like the diamond-shaped Isle of Wight shimmering on the South Coast or The Queen of Resorts in Llandudno's Happy Valley. Wherever you choose to travel there will be sights worth seeing onboard a glittering coach that doesn't need horses!

Every year I look forward to the end of summer. It's not because I don't like the hot months though, far from it.

The reason is that at this time of year I have the chance to plan next year's holidays and it fills me with hope for exciting times to come. Holidays introduce new aspects into our lives, whether that's through visiting a familiar place or an exotic location. And, of course, there are new friends that we make along the way.

Whenever you travel, wherever you stay, our tours are sure to offer much more than a destination. We always travel in style, and our coaches enjoy a wonderful atmosphere of shared experiences and camaraderie that stays in mind long after the journey is over.
